Armand Schaubroeck Steals - Ratfucker | Jon Wayne - Texas Funeral

Pondering the travesty of the last eight years and how tragically this regime has screwed the world leaves me absolutely dumbfounded. Watching this tired excuse for leadership finally grind to a limp finish while these assholes smirk and grimace their way out of town is cold comfort, but I'll fucking take it. I'm so ecstatic to see them go I'm dedicating this post to their eminent removal. Below are a few classic offensive albums to aid in yanking these polyps off our collective colon.

Armand Schaubroeck Steals - Ratfucker [1978]
This album just drips with ruthless condescension and pathetic fiefdom--a fitting tribute to grease Duh-bya's ass as he skids out of DC. One of my more musically encyclopedic friends played this record for me years ago. A very enthusiastic fan of Armand, he once travelled to his guitar shop in Rochester, NY (House of Guitars) and had him sign his organ donor card.

Jon Wayne - Texas Funeral [1985]
My first listen to this album was fittingly in the Lone Star State on a trek in the early 90's to ring in the new year. A friend was bartending at the Continental Club in Austin and some friends and I traveled down from KC to the warm confines for a 4 day stay. Our instructions were to meet him at the Continental Club and he gave us a password for the doorman as Junior Brown happened to be playing that evening and it was sold out. When we passed our word, the doorman escorted us to a spot by the bar cordoned off with a "Reserved" sign hanging off a velvet rope. Four barstools greeted us, booze quickly followed. I spent the evening marveling at Junior Brown and the lightening quick stash and grabs of his slide from an inside jacket pocket. At some point ladies in sun dresses and cowboy boots danced on the bar. As we waited for my friend to close, he played Texas Funeral very loudly and I was really struck by it at the time. The lyrics are very repetitive and vapid, offensive in that Country Teasers kind of way, and sometimes humorous in a sickening manner. Sound familiar?

A nice medley of some video

Hear Ratfucker

Hear Texas Funeral

After the fetid stench clears, I'll be back with some celebratory sounds for the new man in town.

I remain totally offended over the last eight years and that led to an offensive send off. Ratfucker and Texas Funeral remind me of the Bush mindset and seem like the only way to tell that story.
