Thinking Fellers Union Local 282 - Lovelyville

Nice and weird and warm. Like a glass of milk in the sun.

Allmusic.com: The group's first album for Matador is also one of their more accessible ones, with the group's penchant for willful eccentricity colliding with some hummable melodies. However, this release also contains plenty of what TFUL #282 fans lovingly call "Feller-filler" (i.e., noise-pieces that have no real beginning, or ending, or point, for that matter).

Thinking Fellers Union Local #282 - Admonishing The Bishop

This record doesn't try to be anyone or anything it isn't. Sometimes when you don't give 110% you get 100%.

There were times this band just out n' out nailed it. Hurricane is one of those moments. There are other times this band kind of missed it. This EP skipped those moments.

I thought everyone had a million dollars

Thinker Fellers Union Local 282 - Tangle

Trouser Press: The self-released Tangle includes a lot of similar songs, but with a noisier, meaner tone. The pendulous shifts in guitar sound and a complex train-chug of collective force are punctuated by any of the following: broken chords, keening choruses, accordion, trumpet and spoken bits. "Sister Hell" became something of a college radio hit.
